Happy Birthday, Loves!

Today, I get the joy of celebrating the most remarkable woman in my life—my wife. This birthday feels especially significant, a milestone of strength and love after a year that tested us in ways we never expected. God’s hand has been so evident through it all, reminding me again of His love and mercy. I’m deeply thankful for each moment I get to spend by her side.

Walking Together Through the Valley

When we received her diagnosis—endometrial cancer—it felt as though life paused. Everything we knew and planned seemed to hang in the balance. But even in those early days, we had something powerful to lean on: our faith. Romans 8:28 became an anchor for us, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him.” We held tight to each other and to the promises of our loving Father.

There were nights when words fell short, and all we could do was pray. Yet, even in those quiet moments, there was peace—the kind of peace only God can provide. Seeing her face each day with grace and courage showed me a new level of strength. She became my inspiration, teaching me more about faith than any book or sermon ever could.

Healing, Hope, and the Gift of Every Day

Since her surgery, I’ve watched her grow stronger with each passing day. While she’s not entirely free from the shadow of cancer, her health has improved, and her risk of recurrence is low. Each step forward, each good report, feels like a precious reminder of God’s mercy. Watching her heal has felt like witnessing a new sunrise after a long night—bright, full of hope, and deeply comforting.

Our days now feel fuller, sweeter. The small things—her laughter, the warmth of her hand in mine—mean more than ever. I see God’s goodness in her smile, His faithfulness in every new morning we share. He’s brought us through the valley, and now, each day feels like a gift unwrapped before us.

Celebrating the Love of My Life

Today, I celebrate more than her birthday—I celebrate the gift of who she is. This woman who, through trials and triumphs, has shown me the true meaning of love. I am thankful for every memory, every laugh, every prayer we’ve shared, and every quiet moment that’s deepened our bond. Proverbs 31:25 says, “She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.” This verse captures her perfectly—strong, gracious, and full of faith.

Happy birthday, Loves. You are a blessing beyond words, a reminder of God’s faithfulness, and a testimony to His grace. Here’s to more beautiful years, more laughter, more love, and the steadfast presence of the One who holds us both in His hands.
